Vet visit

The visit to the vet went great. Potter now weighs 13.5 pounds. We got some ear wash for his very waxy ears, and a toothbrush and paste so we can get him in the habit of brushing his teeth. His next appointment is in 2 weeks.

I sat down to brush his teeth last night and he was very excited about it. I think it was because of the smell of the paste. He must have thought he was getting a treat. He didn't do too bad with it. I did need to have Brad help me with it. I hope that he will soon let me do it without any help from Brad.

Brad called and left a message for a puppy trainer that we chose from the list the Doctor gave me. We are waiting to hear from one that my friend Michelle used with Ci-Ci. So hopefully we can get the ball rolling with that very soon.

I took Potter for a walk in the neighborhood today. He was very curious about everything. If there was something on the side of the street where we were walking he was trying to put it in his mouth. As we were walking a neighbor was coming out of their house with their dog to go for a walk. Potter was very interested in it. They started to go a different direction then us so he wanted to go that way. I think he wanted to play.
