Welcome Home Potter!

We went out to Hillsboro yesterday and picked up our new puppy. When we got home, we went outside in the backyard and he went potty! We introduced him to his crate at bedtime, and he really didn't have any problem with it. Samantha woke up with him once throughout the night and took him out, and he didn't have any accidents throughout the night.

The next morning, he played in the morning with the boys, and everyone loves him very much. He is getting very comfortable in his new home. He seems to really be happy here.

He has taken to wearing a collar and leash very quickly! He will walk alongside me with or without a leash. He is also very loving towards the children.

Potter weighs 11 pounds as of his last visit to the vet, which was two days ago. He was born on December 23rd and he is a Goldendoodle. His mother is a Golden Retriever and his father is a poodle.

The poodle gene is like the Midas touch. They are so smart, you really can't go wrong. Cut that gene in with another breed and it like adding the secret ingrediant... You instantly have an awesome tempered dog.
GO POODLES!
